Ohmmeter. This element measures the resistance of an object. Place up to three ohmmeters in the simulation window. With the Select tool, you can move ohmmeters and wire them to other objects. You attach wires to the ohmmeter's two nodes, which are located on the two terminals sticking out of the sides of the ohmmeter. This element has an alternative view. The figure below illustrates how to use an ohmmeter. Always measure the resistance of an object in isolation. Connecting an ohmmeter to an active circuit has no negative consequences for the ohmmeter. However, its display, which shows billions of ohms, is not accurate.
In the Properties Box of the ohmmeter, you can change the scale of its display: ohms, tens of ohms, or hundreds of ohms. |
