Rectangle Tool: Click and drag to draw a rectangle of any size.To draw a square, hold down the shift key while you draw the shape. In the rectangle's Properties Box, you can change its color (black is default), choose to show the rectangle's border only (default is to draw filled shapes), or lock the position of the rectangle.

Placing a rectangle on top of another object connects the rectangle to that object.
