Select Button: Depressing the Select Button allows you to:

  1. Wire circuit elements together. See Wiring.
  2. Select an object in the simulation window by clicking on it once. You can also select several objects by dragging out a box with the mouse.
  3. Select an object and move it to another location. You can use the mouse to move the object, or use arrow keys to move the object one pixel at a time.
  4. Double-click on an object and open its Properties Box (if it has one).
  5. Select an object and resize it by dragging on a handle with the mouse (some objects only).
  6. Select an object and rotate it (some objects only). You can use the mouse to rotate the object by dragging on its rotation handle (the right-angled double arrow in the lower right corner), or you can rotate the object using arrow keys while holding down the Shift key (left/up for counterclockwise, right/down for clockwise).
  7. Obtain an alternative view by clicking on an object and holding down the mouse button for a couple seconds (certain objects only).
  8. Select one or several objects for the purpose of using Edit commands (e.g., Delete, Copy, Cut, Group).
