Substance Analyzer. Located in the Substance Region, this device allows the user to break down a compound into its constituent elements.

To place a substance in the Substance Analyzer, click on a substance button or use the substance (molar) scoop, and click on the Analyzer's input chute at the top (first two figures below). To decompose the substance, click on the Run button. The output appears in the output bins (third figure). With Select depressed, you can move the output out of the bins and perform additional analysis using the simulator's other tools (fourth figure).
