Mass Scooper. With this tool, you can create a lump of a substance that has a mass between 1 (default) and 20 grams. You can set the Mass of scoop in the tool's Properties Box (double-click on the Mass Scooper button). To use this tool, depress the Mass Scooper button. A half-spherical scooper now follows the cursor as you move it around in the Substance Region (Figure 1). Click on any substance in the Substance Region to fill the scooper (Figure 2). Then deposit the scoop by clicking on an open spot in the Substance Region (Figure 3), or by clicking on the tray of the Balance, in the Thermal Container, or in the Water Container.

If you click on a lump of substance that has a smaller number of grams than the scooper picks up, a warning will appear that says, You can't scoop because the quantity of substance is insufficient.
