Volume Scooper. With this tool, you can create a lump of a substance that has a volume between 1 (default) and 20 ml (or cm3). You can set the Volume of scoop in the tool's Properties Box (double-click on the Volume Scooper button).

To use this tool, depress the Volume Scooper button. A cubic scooper now follows the cursor as you move it around in the Substance Region (Figure 1). Click on any substance in the Substance Region to fill the scooper (Figure 2). Then deposit the scoop by clicking on an open spot in the Substance Region (Figure 3), or by clicking on the tray of the Balance or in the Thermal Container.

If you click on a lump of substance that has a smaller volume than the scooper, a warning will appear that says, You can't scoop because the quantity of substance is insufficient.
