Text Shape (Box) Tool: Click and drag to draw a text box of any size. Enter text right away at the cursor. The text shape will expand automatically in the vertical direction to accomodate more text. It will not shrink if you delete lines of text.

If you wish to enter more text later on, click the Select button. Click once on the box to select it, and again to enter text. Enter text at the cursor.

In the text shape's Properties Box, you can change the color of the text (default black) or the background (default white); make the text shape transparent or give it a frame; select the text font (default dialog) and size (default 10 point); make the text bold or italic; or lock the position of the text shape.

Because the default color is white, the text shape will be invisible against the background of the simulator. Be sure to type in it right away or you might not be able to find it later!

Placing a text shape on top of another object connects the text shape to that object.
