Simulator Background Properties: To open the simulator background Properties Box, depress Select. Then double-click or control-click in a clear area of the simulation window.

In the Properties Box, you can set these properties:

• Standard current. The current corresponding to a standard compass deflection. Default is 37.5 mA, which is the current running through a 40 ohm light bulb connected to a 1.5 volt battery.
• Standard compass deflection. The deflection of a compass needle by the magnetic field of a wire carrying a standard current.
• Show clock. Show or hide the clock. Default is to hide.
