Electrophorus (conductor): Place one or two of these conductors anywhere in the simulation window. You can attach a flag, a pendulum ball and a neon bulb to this conductor (see figure below). In the conductor's Properties Box, you can set its charge. You can also show or not show the Model View and the Microscopic View of the electrophorus.

An electrophorus can exchange charge with a pendulum ball or another electrophorus through direct contact or by way of a neon bulb. Two electrophoruses can also exchange charge by way of a pendulum ball swinging back and forth between them An insulator can transfer charge to an electrophorus through rubbing. However, the electrophorus cannot transfer charge to an insulator.

Hang a pendulum ball on the pole sticking out of the electrophorus, as indicated.

Attach a flag to the electrophorus at the indentation provided on the top left.

Attach a neon bulb to the left side of the electrophorus by clicking on the conductor's left half, as indicated. Attach the bulb to right side by clicking on the right half.
