Exploder: This tool provides one or two body elements with instantaneous, impulsive boosts at the beginning of simulation runs (Run mode). Place up to five exploders anywhere in the simulation window or on a track. With the Select tool, you can move and rotate the exploder.

To place body elements on an exploder, you must click on part indicated by the cursor in Figure 1. The exploder always loads on the right first, even if you click on the left side. Figure 2 shows what the exploder-bodies system looks like after you place the body elements.

You cannot attach a thruster or any vectors to bodies loaded onto exploders.

To place an exploder on a track, you must click within about 30 pixels above the track. Once you place an exploder on a track, you cannot move it off the track.

In the exploder's Properties Box, you can set its direction (in degrees) and its strength (in kg * m/s). The launched bodies have velocities equal to the strength divided by each particle's mass. The exploder effectively accelerates the body elements instantaneously.
