: This button activates the Printing Applet, copies the contents of Java applets into GIF images and creates a new HTML page that is a duplicate of the original one, except that all the applets have been replaced by the new GIF images. You use Internet Explorer's Print function to print this new page.

To start, just click on Prepare to Print. This applet will take several seconds to build the new printing HTML page. The printing page opens in a separate window. To print this page:

  • Type control-P (on PCs) or Apple-P (on Macs);
  • Click on the Print button on Explorer's icon bar; or
  • Open Explorer's File menu and choose Print.

Note: You need to delete the temporary documents created by this applet (placed in a folder called temp), but Sound Lab users must not delete this folder, which contains the sound files used in Sound Lab. Sound Lab expects to find this folder; it will not create the folder if it cannot find it. Instead, the simulator will crash.
