Stop: Depressing the Stop button puts the simulator in Stop mode. Stop mode is the default operating mode for all simulators. In Stop mode, you can place elements and prepare setups for simulation runs. Only in Stop mode can you access the Standard Menu.

In Light & Color simulators, light sources (except beam projectors) are "on" in Stop mode. Their light forms images on Screens and can be "seen" by Eyes. Light ray and spray elements do not trace out light paths in Stop mode--only in Run mode.
