Beam Projector: Place anywhere in the simulation window. Placing the beam projector turns the background gray. With Select depressed, you can move and rotate the projector. The light beam , which is white in color, only turns on during Run mode.

In the beam projector's Properties Box, you can choose to show total reflection. This property is identical to the same property for the light ray, because the beam is a bundle of white light rays all pointed in the same direction.
