Eye: You can place the eye anywhere in the simulation window. When you place the eye, an Eye View window opens. It operates in the same manner and has the same options as the Screen View window. If you close the Eye View window, you can reopen by clicking on the Eye View hotspot (see below).

You can rotate the eye by using the rotation handle or by changing the rotation angle in the eye's Properties Box.

In the Eye's Properties Box, you can also elect to Show Volume Angle. The simulator will indicate the volume seen by the Eye (see figure below). You can also choose not to "see" sources.

Note: The eye does not "see" light from the beam projector. Also, the eye does not work if you place any of the following elements: off-axis mirror, triangular prism, rectangular prism, or two-media element. The eye cannot "see" images at angles larger than 45 degrees to the horizontal axis due to limitations of the Java program.
