Source Scope. The Source Scope tool allows you to see the spectra of the light reflected by Material A and Material B. After you click the Source Scope button, a small color bar graph tracks the cursor as you move the cursor across the simulation window. To see the spectrum of light reflected by Material A (or B), click in the Material A (B) Region (left image). A small window entitled Material A (B) appears that displays the color spectrum o fthe light refelcted by Material A (B).
When the show non-visible light box is checked in the background properties (unless the show results in color vision box is checked), the spectrum includes bars for infrared and ultraviolet light. In the Material A (B) window, checking the enable refresh box means that every time you change the light source or its properties, or change the materials, the view updates immediately. By clicking Copy to Clipboard, you can paste the reflected light spectrum in the simulation window. The Close button closes the Material A (B) window. |
