Ultrascope View (Diffusion):  To open the Ultrascope View, use the Ultrascope View tool and click inside the container at the interface between the two gases.

In Run mode, the Ultrascope View shows the motions of particles, the collisions between them, and the collisions between the particles and the container walls. Particles of different sizes are depicted as both different sizes and colors. Blue particles (see the container) are always blue, regardless of size. The number of particles in the view changes according to variations in density. In Stop mode, the view shows only motionless particles.

If the container has an imaginary barrier or a membrane, it appears in the Ultrascope View. The imaginary barrier appears as a thick line that prevents the gases from mixing. The membrane has a hole in it of variable radius that particles can slip through (see figure below).

In the Properties Box of the Ultrascope, you can show velocity vectors of some particles during Stop mode or Pause mode.

At the hotspots indicated below, you can attach meters for particle number density, average impulse per collision, and average particle speed or energy. To attach a meter, you must click directly on the hotspot, as indicated by the cursor below.
