Ultrascope View (Evaporation): To open the Ultrascope View, use the Ultrascope View tool and click inside the container at the interface between liquid and air. In Run mode, the Ultrascope View shows the motions of particles, the collisions between them, and particles escaping from and rejoining the liquid. Particles of different types are depicted as both different sizes and colors. The number of particles in the view changes according to variations in density. In Stop mode, the view shows only motionless particles. In the Properties Box of the Ultrascope, you can show velocity vectors of some particles during Stop mode or Pause mode. At the upper hotspots indicated below, you can attach meters for particle number density and average particle speed or energy. At the lower hotspots, you can attach meters that measure the rate at which particles leave the surface of the liquid, and the rate at which they stick to it. To attach a meter, you must click directly on the hotspot, as indicated by the cursor below. ![]() |
