Pause: The Pause button is only accessible during Run mode. Clicking on the Pause button freezes a simulation run and the displays of measurement tools. The simulator is now in Pause mode, which displays all the characteristics of Run mode except, of course, that no simulation is running.

In Pause mode, the Run button functions like a Rewind-and-Play button on a VCR rather than a Play button. Rather than resuming the simulation, clicking on the Run button starts the simulation anew (without recalculation). This function is particularly useful in SoundLab, which has no looping property (see the RippleLab's Ripple Tank). By clicking on Pause and then Run, you can watch and listen to a simulation several times and wait through the calculation only once.

Clicking on Pause while the simulator is calculating a simulation run will pause the calculation. Clicking on Run again will resume the calculation.
