Branch Box Tool: A branch box receives a signal from one input device (a sound source, a microphone, a Fourier combiner, or another branch tool) and sends the same signal to between one and three output devices (wave measurement tools, the tape recorder, Fourier combiners, or additional branch tools). Thus, a branch box is normally wired to two, three, or four other objects.
