Resonance Box: A resonance box can amplify the sound produced when the hammer tool strikes a tuning fork. Place the resonance box by clicking on a tuning fork. The resonance box appears attached to the fork at a resonant length. You cannot detach the box from the fork.

With the Select tool, you can resize the resonance box (change its length). You can also set the box's length in the box's Properties Box.

When you change the length of the tuning fork's tines or change the fork's frequency, the length of the box automatically adjusts to a resonant length. You can turn off this property in the box's Properties Box. If you change the default property, a box will have a length of 70 when first placed, which is a resonant length for a tuning fork with a frequency of 470 Hz (the default fork freqeuncy).
